Synopsis
The spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris), also known as the long-snouted dolphin, is a small cetacean that can be found in nearly all tropical and subtropical waters between 40°N and 40°S. They are typically found in coastal waters, islands, or banks. The species is famous for its acrobatic displays and is known for rotating as it leaps out of the water.
