Synopsis

Lake Brienz (German: Brienzersee) is a picturesque lake just north of the Alps, in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is known for its crystal clear blue-green waters, which are surrounded by towering mountains and pristine forests.Fed by the water of glaciers, the Lutschine is a fast flowing river with great volume of water cutting through the valleys of Switzerland. It has its source off the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains and carries the glacier water directly to Interlaken and Lake Brienz.
