Synopsis
The Triftwasser is a 10km long tributary of the Gadmerwasser in Switzerland. This wild river rises below the Trift glacier on the north side of the Winterberg massif and initially flows through the Triftsee, while further downstream the water is collected and used to produce electricity. Ultimately, these waters flow to the Aare and Rhine rivers.
