Synopsis
The Orchha cenotaphs are monuments that commemorate the Bundelkhand dynasty rulers. They were built between the 16th and 18th centuries, and have a mix of Mughal and Rajput styles. The tall, square buildings have umbrella-like chatris. Although the cenotaphs are empty, they house a colony of critically endangered vultures.
