Synopsis
Known locally as The Pepperpot, the Storm Tower at Compass Point in Bude, Cornwall, is an octagonal coastguard lookout tower built in 1835. Situated on a sandstone and shale cliff that is crumbling and subject to erosion, the at risk tower was dismantled and reconstructed 100m inland in 2023. This footage shows the tower in the year before that move.
