Synopsis
The blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) is a small bird in the tit family, Paridae. They are a colourful mix of blue, yellow and green, with white cheeks and a thin black eyestripe.The blue tit can usually be found in woodland, parks and gardens, nesting in holes in trees, but is just as happy to use nest-boxes.
