Synopsis
The Kanli Kula Fortress, located in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, is a stunning historical monument that offers panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor and the Adriatic Sea. Kanli Kula, which translates to "Bloody Tower" in Turkish, has a history steeped in battles and conquests. Originally built by the Turks in the 1500s, has served as a defensive stronghold and a prison. Today, it is a popular tourist destination and also serves as an open-air amphitheater for concerts and performances during the summer months.
