Synopsis
The daisy anemone (Cereus pedunculatus) is a large UK species found in deep pools, crevices, or sediment up to 50m deep, typically with only its tentacles visible.It has 500-1000 short plum-brown tentacles and a distinctive dark trumpet-shaped column (12cm tall) that stays buried in sediment, distinguishing it from the elegant anemone.
