Synopsis
The red gurnard (Chelidonichthys cuculus), also known as the East Atlantic red gurnard or soldier, is a ray-finned fish found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, including the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea, typically on habitats dominated by sand or gravel.
