Synopsis
The cushion starfish (Culcita novaeguineae) is a small starfish that grows up to 5 cm, with 5 short, broad arms (rarely 4 or 6).True to its name, it has a puffy, cushion-like appearance. This species is commonly found in rock pools along many UK coasts.
