Synopsis
Curled octopus (Eledone cirrhosa), also commonly known as the lesser octopus or horned octopus, is a broad mantled octopus which grows up to 50 cm in length. They are predominantly red-brown dorsally and white ventrally but are able to change colour quickly to match their background. They are found on rocky coasts, lower shore, sublittoral zones in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
