Synopsis
Fan Worm (Sabella spallanzanii) is a species of marine polychaete worms native to shallow waters in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. They have stiff, sandy tubes which protrude from the sand, and a two-layered crown of feeding tentacles. In some parts of the world it is regarded as an invasive species.
