Synopsis
Light-bulb sea squirt (Clavelina lepadiformis) is a colonial sea squirt native to the north east Atlantic Ocean. Starting life as a tadpole-like larvae, the adults live permanently attached to rocks under the sea. They get their name from their tendency to shoot out a stream of water when removed from the sea.
