Synopsis
The transparent, gelatinous and spherical-shaped Sea Gooseberry (Pleurobrachia pileus) is a species of comb jelly found in open water in the northern Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. They are carnivores that feed on zooplankton.
