Synopsis
El Jadida is a coastal city 100km southwest of Casablanca. A fortified city built by the Portuguese at the beginning of the 16th century and previously called Mazagan, it was incorporated into Morocco in 1769. The city was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004
