Synopsis
Deforestation, land degradation, and global warming has led to an increase of dry and infertile land in many African countries. Living tree stumps can be found across Africa with the potential to re-grow into trees.Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration, also known as Treecovery or Kisiki Hai, involves selecting, pruning and protecting the stumps until they regenerate.
