Synopsis
Under a high emissions scenario (RCP 8.5) with median probability projections, the average temperatures for June, July, and August are expected to rise significantly. In the northern part of the continent, this will result in a shift from current green/yellow temperature zones to yellow/orange, indicating a substantial increase in heat.
