Synopsis
Under a high emissions scenario (RCP 8.5) with median probability projections, the average temperatures for June, July, and August in Africa are expected to rise significantly. Parts of North Africa and Saudi Arabia start in red in 2005, and by 2099, the entire northern part of the continent shifts to bright red, indicating a substantial increase in heat.
