Synopsis
Saltwater crocodiles are the largest crocodile species and the largest living reptiles in the world.The saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is native to saltwater habitats, brackish wetlands, and freshwater rivers. This adaptability allows them to thrive in a wide range of ecosystems. They are found from India's east coast across Southeast Asia, extending through the Sundaic region to northern Australia, and even reaching the islands of Micronesia.
