Synopsis

The bluestreak cleaner wrasse (Labroides dimidiatus) is a small, colourful fish species known for its unique role in marine ecosystems. They form mutualistic relationships by feeding on parasites and dead tissue from other fish and operate "cleaning stations" where larger fish come to have parasites removed.
