Synopsis
Proboscis monkeys (Nasalis larvatus), also called long-nosed monkeys, are endemic to Borneo. These long-tailed arboreal primates live primarily in mangrove forests along rivers and coastal areas of the island, where they feed mainly on fruit and leaves.
